Fatal Incident on Ganga Expressway
Local Correspondent, Badaun. A tragic road accident occurred on Wednesday on the Ganga Expressway in Badaun district, Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened when a dog suddenly appeared on the road, prompting the driver of an Ertiga car to swerve in an attempt to avoid it, resulting in the vehicle overturning. At the time of the accident, there were nine individuals in the car, traveling from Nepal to Chandigarh. Three people lost their lives, and six others sustained injuries.
Driver's Attempt to Avoid Dog
According to reports, the accident took place near channel number 175 in the Kunwarganj police station area of Badaun. The car was en route to Chandigarh when a dog unexpectedly crossed its path.
In an effort to save the dog, the driver attempted to steer the vehicle away, which led to a loss of control and the car flipped over. The aftermath of the accident created chaos on the expressway.
Casualties Reported
Two women died at the scene, while a young man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The deceased included two women from Dang district in Nepal, and the third victim was approximately 22 years old.
Upon receiving news of the accident, police arrived promptly to initiate rescue operations. The injured were transported to the hospital via ambulance.

The accident resulted in injuries to six individuals, including the driver. The injured parties are Deepak Oli, Pushpa, Gyan Bahadur Mall, Yadav Pode, Vinod, and Simon. All were subsequently taken to the district hospital in Badaun for treatment.
The police have removed the damaged vehicle from the expressway and parked it in a rest area to prevent traffic disruption.
Traveling from Nepal to Chandigarh
Initial reports indicate that all passengers were traveling from Nepal to Chandigarh. This sudden incident turned their journey into a tragedy. The police have taken possession of the deceased's bodies and initiated necessary legal procedures, with the bodies being held at the Wazirganj community health center.
