Tragic Road Accident on Ganga Expressway Claims Three Lives

In a tragic incident on the Ganga Expressway in Hapur, a severe road accident resulted in the deaths of two women and a young child. Reports indicate that a truck traveling from Bareilly to Ludhiana lost control due to high speed, collided with a divider, and overturned on the expressway. The two women and a 10-month-old baby were trapped beneath the overturned vehicle, suffering fatal injuries at the scene.
It has been reported that five individuals were in the truck, which was en route from Fatehganj East in Bareilly to Ludhiana, Punjab. The vehicle overturned after crashing into the divider near the Sadarpur toll plaza, leading to the tragic deaths of the two women, identified as Shridevi and Savitri, along with the infant named Abhijit. Local authorities arrived promptly and extricated the bodies from under the truck for post-mortem procedures.
Additionally, two other passengers, Lalaram and Abhishek, sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment. The police are actively investigating the incident.
The police reported that the truck was carrying five passengers and was traveling at a high speed. The collision with the divider at night caused chaos in the area. Hapur police responded quickly to rescue individuals from the overturned vehicle. Unfortunately, three lives were lost at the scene, including two women and a baby. The injured were taken to a private hospital, where their condition remains critical.
