Fatal Incident in Dausa District

A heartbreaking accident occurred in Dausa district, Rajasthan, resulting in the deaths of 11 individuals. According to police reports, the incident took place early Wednesday morning on the Dausa-Manoharpur highway, where a vehicle collision led to the fatalities, including women and children, while several others sustained injuries.


Details of the Accident

Sagar Rana, the Superintendent of Police in Dausa, stated that the victims were returning from a visit to the Khatu Shyam temple when their pickup truck collided with a container truck. The accident happened near Manoharpur, and the victims were on their way back to their village in Etah, Uttar Pradesh, after visiting the Khatu Shyam and Salasar Balaji temples. The pickup truck, carrying over 20 passengers, struck a truck parked on the service lane of the highway between 4 and 5 AM. Among the eight injured, one is reported to be in critical condition.


Condolences from Officials

Rajasthan's Chief Minister, Bhajanlal Sharma, expressed his sorrow over this "tragic" road accident. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he remarked, "The news of the deaths in the horrific road accident in Dausa is extremely saddening. I have instructed the district administration to ensure prompt and proper treatment for the injured. May God grant peace to the departed souls and provide a speedy recovery to the injured."


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also conveyed his condolences regarding the road accident in Dausa, expressing sympathy for the families of the deceased and wishing for the swift recovery of the injured. He directed officials to coordinate with their counterparts in the Rajasthan government.
