Fatal Incident in Dausa District

A tragic accident occurred in the Dausa district of Rajasthan, resulting in the deaths of 11 individuals. According to police reports, early Wednesday morning, a road mishap on the Dausa-Manoharpur highway led to the fatalities, which included women and children, while several others sustained injuries. Sagar Rana, the Superintendent of Police in Dausa, stated that the victims were returning from a visit to the Khatu Shyam temple when their pickup truck collided with a container truck.

Superintendent Sagar Rana further explained that the incident took place near Manoharpur. The affected individuals were returning to their village in Etah, Uttar Pradesh, after visiting the Khatu Shyam and Salasar Balaji temples. He mentioned, “There were over 20 people in the pickup truck. The vehicle crashed into a truck parked on the service lane of the highway. This accident occurred between 4 and 5 AM on Wednesday.” He also noted that one of the eight injured individuals is in critical condition.


Condolences from State Leaders

The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajanlal Sharma, expressed his sorrow over this "tragic" road accident. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "The news of the deaths in the horrific road accident in Dausa is extremely saddening. I have instructed the district administration to ensure prompt and proper treatment for the injured. May God grant peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery to the injured."


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also conveyed his condolences regarding the road accident in Dausa, Rajasthan. He expressed sympathy for the families of the deceased and wished for the swift recovery of the injured. He directed officials to coordinate with their counterparts in the Rajasthan government.
