Fatal Accident in Kushinagar District

A tragic road accident in Kushinagar district, Uttar Pradesh, resulted in the death of one young man and left another seriously injured. The police have sent the deceased's body for a post-mortem examination.

According to law enforcement, the incident occurred around 11 PM on Friday night along the Nebua-Paniyihwa highway. Ranjan (35) and Dinkar (30), both residents of Ramnagar, were riding their motorcycle towards Paniyihwa when the accident took place.

Authorities reported that as they approached a petrol pump turn near Chhitouni town, a speeding vehicle collided violently with their motorcycle. The impact was so severe that Dinkar died at the scene, while Ranjan sustained serious injuries.

After receiving alerts from passersby, police arrived at the site and transported the injured individual to the community health center in Turkha. The body was also sent for post-mortem. Following the incident, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

The police are actively searching for the unidentified driver and are reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras. Station House Officer Sanjay Kumar stated that the body has been sent for post-mortem, and further action will be taken upon receiving a formal complaint.
