A severe road accident occurred in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, early Friday morning at around 3 AM. A speeding Bolero vehicle collided violently with an auto-rickshaw at the Parshuram intersection. The impact was so intense that five individuals lost their lives on the spot, while four others sustained injuries, including a child. Upon receiving the news, the police rushed to the scene and transported the injured to a nearby hospital, where four were pronounced dead.
Returning from Temple Visit
According to reports, the incident took place at 3 AM when all passengers in the auto were returning from a visit to the Sheetla Mata temple. The collision was so catastrophic that the auto was severely damaged, leaving the passengers with no time to react.
Emergency Response
Following the accident, local residents immediately alerted the police and ambulance services. The police team arrived promptly and took the injured to the hospital, where doctors confirmed the deaths of four individuals. The bodies of the deceased have been placed in the mortuary, while the injured continue to receive medical care.
Driver Flees the Scene
It has been reported that the Bolero initially struck an e-rickshaw at the bus stand before fleeing the scene and subsequently colliding with the auto-rickshaw. The police are currently investigating the incident.
