Patna, June 12: A devastating road accident occurred early Friday morning in the Sahebpur Kamal area of Begusarai district, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including three Station House Officers (SHOs) from the Bihar Police.
This tragic event has caused widespread sorrow and shock within the police community, especially in Madhepura district, where the officers were stationed.
Initial reports have identified the deceased officers as Sajan Kumar, SHO of Ratwara police station in the Udakishunganj subdivision; Amarendra Gyanendra, SHO of Arar police station; and Neeraj Kumar, SHO of Belari police station, also under Madhepura subdivision.
The officers were returning to Madhepura after participating in an official training session in Patna when the accident took place.
It is reported that their vehicle collided with a truck that was parked on the roadside in the Sahebpur Kamal area.
The collision was extremely violent, leaving little opportunity for the occupants to escape.
Preliminary information indicates that the driver of the vehicle also lost his life in the incident.
