Fatal Accident in Sirmaur District

A heartbreaking road accident has occurred in the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Late Sunday night, a car lost control on the Nahan-Kumarhatti-Shimla national highway and plunged approximately 150 feet into a ravine. This unfortunate incident resulted in the deaths of three individuals, while one young man sustained serious injuries. The police have confirmed the incident and initiated an investigation.

Details of the Incident

According to the police, the vehicle lost control at a sharp turn near the Sarahan hospital, crashing through the roadside safety barrier and falling into the deep gorge. At the time of the accident, there were four occupants in the car. Two individuals died at the scene, while a critically injured woman succumbed to her injuries en route to Dr. Y.S. Parmar Medical College in Nahan.

Victims Identified

Another seriously injured person is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. V.C. Negi, the Deputy Superintendent of Police in Rajgarh, confirmed the fatalities and the injury of one individual. The deceased have been identified as Reena Sharma (48), Officier Jaitly (65), and Urmil Jaitly (60). Reports indicate that Officier Jaitly was driving the car at the time of the accident. His son, Yashaswi Jaitly (33), is in critical condition and is being treated at Dr. Y.S. Parmar Medical College in Nahan.

Parmar Medical College and Hospital in Nahan, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
