Investigation Underway in Bhubaneswar Death Case

Bhubaneswar: On Friday, authorities in Khandagiri discovered the body of a 25-year-old marketing trainee from an Odia television station under suspicious circumstances. The deceased, identified as Sankalp Mohanty from Balasore district, was found near a two-story building in the Jagamara area. According to Khandagiri's inspector in charge, Abhimanyu Das, initial investigations suggest that Sankalp may have jumped from the terrace late Thursday night.

Sankalp had been working at the news channel for nine months after graduating from a local private college. He was living in the building with a friend as a tenant.

Inspector Das mentioned that both the landlord and Sankalp's friend are currently being interrogated to uncover the circumstances surrounding his death. Additionally, police are reviewing CCTV footage for more information. So far, no suicide note has been found. An unnatural death case has been filed, and the body has been sent to Capital Hospital for an autopsy.
