Murder-Suicide Incident in Raigad District

A tragic event unfolded in Raigad district, Maharashtra, where a woman was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend, who subsequently took his own life. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening in Parli, Sudhagad taluka, driven by the man's suspicions regarding her fidelity. He inflicted multiple stab wounds on her, resulting in her immediate death.

Preliminary reports indicate that the victim was employed as a nurse at Oswal Hospital in Parli and was in a relationship with the accused. The attack stemmed from his doubts about her character.

Upon the arrival of law enforcement, they discovered the woman's lifeless body, covered in blood. Following this, the man committed suicide by hanging himself. Authorities believe this tragic event was linked to a romantic dispute.

An investigation is currently ongoing at the Pali police station.

Child Abuse Case in Beed District

In a separate incident from Beed District, a disturbing case emerged involving a 5-year-old girl who was found tied up by her father in an animal shed after the death of her mother. This alarming situation raised significant concerns regarding child safety and mental health awareness.

The girl's plight was discovered when a nearby resident heard her cries and followed the sound to the shed. Upon finding the child bound with ropes, she quickly untied her and took her to safety.

The girl was then taken to the Khalid Ahmed Orphanage near Hina Sheikh Hajj House in Gevrai, where staff members alerted the police and the Child Welfare Committee. She has since been admitted to a hospital for care and is receiving proper attention.
