Victim Identified as 11-Year-Old Badal Rajak
The incident took place in the Bank Colony ward number 8 of the Kolgawa police station area. The victim has been identified as Shivraj, also known as Badal Rajak, who was a fifth-grade student. Badal's mother, Asha Rajak, works as a domestic helper. On Monday, when Asha and her elder son returned home from work, they found the door locked from the outside.
After a considerable time without any sign of Badal, they alerted the police. Upon arrival, the police broke open the door and were horrified by the scene inside. Blood splatters were visible on the walls and pillows. Upon opening the blue drum found in the house, they discovered Badal's bloodied body. The assailant had inflicted multiple wounds on the child's neck with a sharp weapon.
Accusations Against Suspect Matura
Badal's elder sister, Sejal Rajak, has accused a young man named Matura of being behind this heinous act. According to Sejal, Matura had been pressuring their mother to marry him. After the family rejected his advances, he frequently threatened them.
Sejal tearfully recounted that he often said he would harm the children if he was not allowed to marry their mother. They had tried to reason with him, but he remained unyielding. At the time of the incident, Badal was alone at home, which the suspect exploited to carry out this horrific crime.
