Tragic Motorcycle Collision Claims Three Lives in Etah District

Fatal Accident in Awagarh Area

In a tragic incident in the Awagarh region of Etah district, a severe collision between two motorcycles resulted in the deaths of three individuals, while another person sustained serious injuries, as reported by local police on Sunday.

According to police officials, the accident occurred late Saturday night near the Barai Kalyanpur turn in the Awagarh police jurisdiction, where two motorcycles collided head-on at high speed, leaving four people critically injured.

The injured were promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where medical staff declared three of them dead upon arrival.

Authorities confirmed that one individual remains in critical condition and is currently receiving treatment. The victims have been identified as Gyan Singh (45), Pradeep (30), and Gaurav (28), while the injured individual, Chotu (35), is undergoing medical care.

Witnesses reported that both motorcycles were traveling at high speeds and collided due to foggy conditions at the turn. Police stated that the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examinations. Preliminary investigations suggest that excessive speed and negligence may have contributed to the accident, and authorities are examining all aspects of the incident.
