Fatal Collision in Sonbhadra District

On Thursday evening, a tragic accident occurred in the Robertsganj area of Sonbhadra district, where a speeding motorcycle collided with a stationary tractor-trailer loaded with bamboo, resulting in the deaths of three young men, including two brothers. According to police reports, the incident took place on the Robertsganj-Pannuganj road.


Police Circle Officer Randhir Mishra shared that four young men from Rajgarh in Mirzapur district were riding a single motorcycle for a trip to Sonbhadra. As they approached the vicinity of Dhobahi village, they lost control of their vehicle and crashed into the parked tractor-trailer.


The impact of the collision was severe, leaving all four riders seriously injured. Upon receiving the emergency call, police arrived at the scene and transported the victims to a medical college, where doctors pronounced Ravi Sharma (24), his brother Manish Sharma (20), and their friend Shubham Sharma (21) dead. Mishra also mentioned that a 19-year-old named Avinash sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment. The authorities have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
