In a tragic incident late Sunday night, a 28-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after plunging nearly 20 feet near a bridge on National Highway 60, within the Rupsa police jurisdiction in Balasore district.


The victim has been identified as Sayan Das, who hailed from the Parnasree police station area in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.


Reports indicate that Das was riding alongside four to five friends on separate racing motorcycles, traveling from Puri to West Bengal when he lost control of his bike, leading to the deadly fall.
