Fatal Collision with Electric Pole in Amethi

In a tragic incident in the Amethi district, a motorcycle collided with an electric pole, resulting in the death of a young man and leaving another person injured. Authorities reported the incident on Friday.

According to police, Subhash, a 23-year-old resident of Ammarpur in the Sangrampur area, was riding his motorcycle with a companion on Thursday night when they were returning home from Amethi. The accident occurred near the village of Sarai Kandha on the Amethi-Pratapgarh highway.

The police confirmed that Subhash died at the scene, while his companion, 17-year-old Vishal, sustained injuries and has been admitted to the hospital. Ravi Singh, the officer in charge of Amethi police station, stated that the body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and legal proceedings are underway.
