Murder Case Unfolds in Tripura

In a shocking incident in Tripura, a 26-year-old man was allegedly murdered over a love affair, with his body concealed in an ice cream freezer. This information was disclosed by the police on Wednesday.

According to Kiran Kumar, the Superintendent of Police for West Tripura, the victim was in a romantic relationship with a 20-year-old woman. However, complications arose as the woman's cousin also harbored feelings for her.

The police reported that following a recent altercation, the couple had stopped communicating, which alerted the cousin to the situation.

Authorities revealed that the cousin devised a plan to kill the woman's boyfriend, luring him to a relative's house in South Indiranagar, West Tripura, on June 8.

The cousin, who is pursuing an MBBS degree, allegedly strangled the young man with the assistance of three accomplices present at the scene. Police have arrested a total of six individuals, including the cousin's parents, in connection with this case.
