Pramod Jadhav, a soldier in the Indian Army, was home on leave to welcome his newborn child when he lost his life in a road accident. A Father's Last Moments and a New Life
Pramod Jadhav, a resident of Parli in Satara, had taken paternity leave to be with his wife during her delivery. Excited about the arrival of their child, he was looking forward to becoming a father. Tragically, shortly after his death, his wife gave birth to a healthy baby girl. The juxtaposition of grief and joy was palpable, as the scene at the cremation ground brought tears to the eyes of all present. His wife, still recovering from childbirth, was brought directly from the hospital on a stretcher to bid farewell to her husband, holding their newborn daughter.
Accident Claims a Life
Pramod, who served in the Indian Army, had returned home for personal matters and to support his wife during her delivery. On Monday, while riding his motorcycle for an errand, he was involved in a severe accident. He succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.

Pramod Jadhav was laid to rest with full military honors. Soldiers and local officials paid their respects by laying wreaths at his memorial. The village of Dare echoed with chants of 'Long Live the Brave Soldier.'
