The Holi-Bharmaur area is engulfed in sorrow following the tragic passing of Chandramani Kulethi, the State Vice President of the Youth Congress. He was electrocuted while assisting in the preparations for a Congress public meeting ahead of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's anticipated visit to Holi (Bharmaur).

Reports indicate that Kulethi was collaborating with party members at the Eco Park venue, where the Congress event was being organized. The fatal incident occurred around noon as he was setting up flags and banners. It is believed that he accidentally touched a live electric wire, resulting in a deadly shock that claimed his life instantly.

Kulethi was known as a vibrant and proactive young leader within the Congress party. Despite his youth, he had made significant strides in local politics and was actively engaged in party initiatives.

He had recently taken a prominent role in Rahul Gandhi's protest rally in Delhi, where he sustained injuries during a police crackdown. His unexpected death has left Congress supporters and local residents in a state of profound shock and grief.

This unfortunate event has robbed the Holi-Bharmaur region of a promising political figure. The incident, occurring just before a significant political gathering, has cast a pall of mourning over the constituency.

In the wake of this tragedy, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu canceled his planned engagements and aimed to attend Kulethi's last rites in Holi. However, he faced technical difficulties with his helicopter, preventing him from reaching the area.

The Chief Minister, along with Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh and other senior Congress officials, has expressed heartfelt condolences to Kulethi's family.

Tributes have poured in from various officials, including Deputy Commissioner Chamba Mukesh Repswal, ADM Bharmaur Vikas Sharma, SDM Bharmaur Ajay Kumar Singh, former Forest Minister Thakur Singh Bharmauri, former MLA Jia Lal Kapoor, APMC Chairman Lalit Thakur, District Congress President Surjit Bharmauri, Pradesh Congress General Secretary Amit Bharmauri, and Bharmaur MLA Dr. Janak Raj, among others.

The entire Bharmaur Assembly constituency is in mourning, as political leaders, party members, and local residents remember Chandramani Kulethi as a dedicated and spirited young leader whose absence will be profoundly felt.
