Tragic Loss: Naveen Patnaik Mourns the Death of Dinesh Agarwal in Pahalgam Terror Attack
Condolences from BJD President

Bhubaneswar: On Thursday, Naveen Patnaik, the president of BJD, expressed his sorrow over the tragic death of Dinesh Agarwal, who originally hailed from Bolangir, Odisha, but was residing in Chhattisgarh. He lost his life in a terror attack in Pahalgam.
Patnaik shared his condolences on X, stating, "Hearing about the loss of another Odia from Bolangir, Dinesh Agarwal, in the Pahalgam terror incident is heartbreaking. I pray for his soul's eternal peace and extend my heartfelt sympathies to his family during this challenging time."

According to reports, the Agarwal family had established their home in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, where they were involved in business activities. Dinesh was the youngest son of Prayag Chand Agarwal, who hails from Lathor village in the Khaprakhol block of Bolangir district.
Having lived in Raipur for several years, his remains were transported there for cremation, which took place on Thursday morning.
Chhattisgarh's Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma were present to pay their respects.
"Chhattisgarh has lost a son today. Dinesh is no longer with us. We have gathered to bid him farewell and honor his sacrifice, which will not be forgotten," Sai remarked.
Dinesh had traveled to Kashmir with his wife, son, and daughter to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.
Another victim of the Pahalgam attack was Prashant Satpathy from Ishani village in Balasore district, Odisha. His remains were also cremated on Thursday morning, attended by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
