Diogo Jota, a 28-year-old forward for Liverpool, along with his 25-year-old brother Andre, tragically lost their lives in a car crash in Zamora, Spain, on July 3, 2025. This heartbreaking event occurred just 11 days after Diogo's wedding to Rute Cardoso, with whom he shared three children.

Born on December 3, 1996, in Porto, Diogo began his football journey in the youth system of Pacos de Ferreira in 2013.
