Tragic Loss: IAF Sergeant Surendra Singh Moga Killed in Pakistani Airstrike

IAF Sergeant's Sacrifice
Surendra Singh Moga, a 36-year-old Assistant Medical Sergeant with the Indian Air Force stationed at Udhampur airbase in Jammu and Kashmir, tragically lost his life due to a Pakistani airstrike early on Saturday. Originally from Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan, Surendra had dedicated over 14 years to the armed forces. He was recently assigned to the 39th wing at Udhampur after transferring from Lucknow just two months prior. His last visit to Jhunjhunu was in April for a ceremony at his new home. Following the heartbreaking news, his wife's health took a turn for the worse, leading to her hospitalization.
Reports indicate that Surendra returned to Udhampur with his wife, Seema, on April 20. However, she had traveled back to Jhunjhunu ten days ago due to the passing of her grandfather and was planning to return to Udhampur shortly.
Jhunjhunu district officials, including collector Ramavatar Meena and police superintendent Sharad Chaudhary, visited the family to convey their condolences regarding Surendra's passing.
