Lightning Incident in Jharkhand
On Thursday, a lightning strike during an operation in Jharkhand resulted in the death of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer, while another was left critically injured, as reported by officials.
The incident occurred around 10:30 PM in the village of Keriburu, located in the West Singhbhum district.
According to officials, the second-in-command officer of the 26th Battalion, M.P. Singh, lost his life due to the lightning strike, while Assistant Commandant S.K. Mandal sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. They were conducting an operation in the forests at the time of the incident.
