Tragic Lightning Strike Claims Four Lives in Prayagraj Family

In a heartbreaking incident in the Yamuna Nagar area of Prayagraj, four members of the same family lost their lives due to a lightning strike. This tragic event occurred late Saturday night in the village of Sonvarsha Hallabor, located in the Bara tehsil.

According to an official report, the family, led by Virendra Vanvasi, was sleeping under a thatched roof when the lightning struck. The Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Vinita Singh, confirmed that Virendra, along with his wife Parvati, and their daughters Radha and Karishma, succumbed to injuries caused by the strike. The deceased have been sent for post-mortem examinations.
