Landslide Strikes Gansu Province
In a tragic incident on Tuesday, a landslide in a village located in northwestern China has resulted in 33 individuals being buried, as reported by state media. Approximately half of those trapped have been successfully rescued.
According to the official Xinhua News Agency, the landslide took place in the Nanhe township of Longnan city, Gansu province, shortly before 7 AM.
State broadcaster CCTV confirmed that 17 individuals had been rescued, although details regarding their health status were not provided.
