Tragic Incidents Unfold in Bareilly and Maharajganj: A Neighbor's Call Leads to Violence

Incident in Bareilly

In Bareilly, a young man faced dire consequences after responding to a call from his neighbor late at night. The incident occurred in a village where, around 8:30 PM on Friday, the man went to the neighbor's house after being invited.

The woman's husband spotted the young man entering their home and decided to confront him. This led to a significant uproar, drawing a large crowd. The husband began shouting, claiming that the neighbor had entered their home to steal, while the young man insisted he was merely following the neighbor's invitation. The woman also defended the young man.

With the help of villagers, the young man was apprehended, and the police arrived shortly after being notified. The husband handed the young man over to the authorities. The woman stated that the young man had not trespassed but had been called for a specific task. She even pleaded for his release, but the police charged him with disturbing the peace.

Murder Case in Maharajganj

In a separate incident in Maharajganj, police discovered a body linked to a murder case. The deceased was identified as Durvijay, a resident of the Parsamalik area. Reports indicate that he was lured to his girlfriend's home under false pretenses.

Unbeknownst to him, his girlfriend's father and brother were plotting to kill him. Upon his arrival, the girlfriend raised an alarm, waking her father and brother. Although Durvijay attempted to flee, he was captured by them, tied to a pillar, and brutally beaten with sticks.

Later, Sanjay Singh and Sheru Singh took Durvijay to a secluded area near the Dhani-Khadkhariya bridge, where they strangled him to death. On Sunday, police made significant progress in the case, arresting the girlfriend, her brother, and father, who were subsequently jailed.
