Balasore: In a tragic event, two six-year-old girls drowned in a pond located in the Balasore district of Odisha while they were playing nearby on Tuesday, according to local police reports.
The unfortunate occurrence happened in the Gandhi Chhak area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Basta police station.
The young cousins were last seen playing close to the pond situated behind their residence. When they failed to return home for an extended period, their family members initiated a search and discovered their bodies floating in the water, as stated by a police official.
