Tragic Incident: Nursing Student Attempts Suicide After Ex-Lover Leaks Private Photos

A Disturbing Case in Odisha

In a heartbreaking incident from Nabarangpur district in Odisha, a nursing student has reportedly attempted suicide by ingesting poison. This tragic act followed her ex-boyfriend's alleged decision to share her private images and videos on social media, as confirmed by local police on Wednesday.

Currently, the second-year nursing student is receiving medical care in a hospital, while her former partner has been taken into custody, according to Nabarangpur Superintendent of Police, Madkar Sandeep Sampat.

The accused, who is also a college student, is said to have uploaded the compromising content on July 17, shortly after being released on bail for a previous assault case involving the same woman in Jeypore district.

He reportedly assaulted her on July 13, accusing her of ending their relationship and becoming involved with another man.

Following her complaint lodged two days later, the police apprehended the suspect. The nursing student hails from Nabarangpur but attends college in Jeypore district.
