Fatal Dispute on Train


A 37-year-old individual was reportedly killed by a group of approximately 20 men during a dispute regarding seating on a moving train near Khekra railway station in Baghpat district, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday.


The victim, named Deepak Yadav, hailed from Khekra and was on board a passenger train traveling from Delhi to Saharanpur when the incident occurred.


Witnesses stated that the attackers escaped before the train reached Khekra station. Yadav was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival, according to a railway police official.


Authorities have filed a first information report (FIR) under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including those related to rioting and murder, as confirmed by Udham Singh Talan, the railway police inspector for the Baraut area.
