Mobile Phone Dispute Leads to Fatal Assault
In a tragic event in the Madanapur police jurisdiction of Shahjahanpur district, a dispute over a mobile phone escalated into violence, resulting in the death of a young man. According to police reports, the incident occurred when a 21-year-old named Arvind Kashyap was using his phone on Sunday evening.
While he was engaged with his device, the five-year-old son of Shrawan Singh Thakur approached and began to look at the phone as well. An accidental touch from the child caused Arvind's phone to fall, prompting him to slap the boy in frustration. Shortly after this altercation, as Arvind passed by Shrawan's home, he was violently attacked by Shrawan.
Police Superintendent Rajesh Dwivedi confirmed that Arvind was taken to the hospital by his family, where he was pronounced dead by medical staff. The accused, Shrawan Kumar Singh, has been apprehended, and the deceased's body has been sent for an autopsy. Legal proceedings are currently underway regarding this case.
