Tragic Incident in Punjab: Woman and Family Take Their Lives
Family Tragedy in Bhudan Village
In a heartbreaking incident in Bhudan village, located in Punjab's Malerkotla district, a 31-year-old woman, along with her son and mother, reportedly committed suicide by ingesting poison. This information was confirmed by local police on Thursday.
Authorities have initiated legal action against several individuals, including the woman's mother-in-law, on charges of abetting suicide.
Inderpal Kaur, the widow, allegedly recorded a video prior to her death, naming at least ten individuals whom she accused of harassing and threatening her and her family.
According to Satpal Sharma, the Superintendent of Police in Malerkotla, the bodies of Inderpal Kaur and her mother, Hardip Kaur, were discovered in their home on Wednesday. Inderpal's nine-year-old son, Jaskirat Singh, was found unconscious and later succumbed to his condition at the hospital.
The police reported that Inderpal had sent the video clip to a relative before taking this tragic step. Based on the statement from Inderpal's brother, Kuldeep Singh, a case has been registered against family members from the in-laws' side, including Charanjit Kaur, neighbor Bhola Singh, and others at the Sundar police station.
