Flooding Leads to Fatal Accident in Noida

A tragic event unfolded in Noida following heavy rainfall, resulting in significant flooding on the streets. A 27-year-old man lost his life after drowning in a drain. This incident occurred on Thursday evening. Authorities have taken possession of the body and initiated an investigation.

Inspector Amit Kumar, in charge of Sector 58 police station, provided details on Friday, stating that Aryan, a resident of Atta village in Noida, was walking somewhere during the intense rain on Thursday evening. The heavy downpour led to substantial water accumulation on the roads.

Due to the flooding, Aryan could not see the deep drain he was passing by and unexpectedly fell into it. He drowned in the deep water of the drain. Upon receiving the report, police and local residents worked diligently to retrieve him from the drain.

After being pulled from the drain, Aryan was rushed to the district hospital in Noida, where doctors pronounced him dead after examination. According to police officials, the body has been sent for autopsy, and necessary legal actions are underway.
