Tragic Incident in Mumbai: Parents Leave Daughter Locked During Wedding
Parents Leave Daughter Locked in Room While Attending Wedding
Life is often unpredictable, filled with accidents and coincidences that can change everything in an instant. While accidents can lead to dire consequences, coincidences can bring about both good and bad outcomes. Unfortunately, some incidents leave individuals with nothing but regret. A recent tragedy in Mumbai highlights this stark reality.
In a heartbreaking event in the Dadar suburb of Mumbai, a 16-year-old girl named Shravani Chavan lost her life due to suffocation. Her parents, intending to allow her to study in peace, locked her in her room while they attended a wedding. Tragically, a fire broke out in her room, making escape impossible. The incident occurred while her parents were away, believing she would be safe and undisturbed.
The fire erupted on the third floor of their five-story apartment building, quickly spreading to Shravani's room. Fire brigade officials reported that both the inside and outside of her room were locked, preventing any chance of rescue. Additionally, a canister of kerosene was discovered at the scene, raising further questions about the cause of the fire.
Shravani suffered severe injuries from the blaze and was rushed to a local hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries. Her father works as a police officer, and the incident has resulted in significant damage to the apartment, including the destruction of valuable belongings. Firefighters took over three hours to extinguish the flames, and an investigation is underway to determine how the kerosene was present in the apartment.
