Mumbai News: A shocking incident has emerged from the Paydhuni area of Mumbai, where four members of the same family tragically lost their lives due to food poisoning. The deceased include a husband and wife along with their two young daughters. According to police reports, the victims have been identified as Abdullah Dokadia (40), his wife Nasreen Dokadia (35), and their daughters Aisha (16) and Zainab (13).


Before their deaths, a family member informed the police that they had all consumed biryani together for dinner, followed by watermelon shortly after. Soon after the meal, all family members began to feel unwell. They were rushed to the hospital, where unfortunately, all four succumbed one after the other.


Police Investigation Underway


A senior officer from the Mumbai police stated that the situation is extremely serious. While the family reported consuming biryani and watermelon, the police are investigating every possible angle. It remains unclear whether a toxic substance was present in the food or if it was a reaction to the combination of the two different food items. Authorities have indicated that the true cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report is released. Currently, the Paydhuni police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and initiated an investigation.
