The incident began on March 11. The accused is a relative of the woman and had been HIV positive since birth, which led her to refuse his marriage proposal. Hurt by her rejection, he collected his blood and forcibly injected it into her at her home, driven by a desire for revenge. This act occurred while the woman was alone in her apartment.
Life Forever Changed
After her suicide, the woman left a note expressing that the accused had ruined her life. She was distressed over the violation of her privacy and sought forgiveness from her parents for her actions. The family learned of her death when her grandmother returned home around 10 AM. The woman’s parents and grandmother earn a living by selling flowers.
Police Statement
Inspector K. Kankayya Goud stated that the woman’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Based on the family’s complaint and statements, a case of attempted murder has been filed against the accused, who is currently in judicial custody. Police officials noted that there has been no confirmation of the woman being HIV positive, as test results typically take about three months to process.
