Hyderabad: A deeply disturbing event unfolded in Hyderabad where a father allegedly murdered his 14-day-old daughter and discarded her body in a garbage dump. This tragic incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Golconda police station on Thursday. The man, identified as Jagat, originally from Nepal and employed as a security guard, was apprehended following a complaint lodged by his wife.

Police Investigation Details

Law enforcement officials reported, “In the early hours of the morning around 2 am, Jagat, a Nepalese national who had been living and working as a watchman for a year, took the life of his infant daughter.”

Authorities revealed that Jagat allegedly stabbed the baby in the neck before disposing of her body near a garbage site in Tolichowki. The motive for this heinous act remains unclear, and the Golconda police are continuing their investigation.

In a separate case from Raigad district in Maharashtra, a woman was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend on May 14. Following the attack, the man took his own life by hanging himself, driven by suspicions regarding her fidelity. The woman, who worked as a nurse at Oswal Hospital in Parli, was found dead at the scene, and police suspect that the murder stemmed from a tumultuous relationship.
