In a shocking incident in the Harman Nagar area of Firozpur, a man reportedly took his own life after allegedly murdering his wife and two daughters. This tragic event came to light on Thursday, as confirmed by local police.

The discovery was made early Thursday morning when a domestic worker arrived at the residence and found the gate locked from the inside. After several attempts to gain entry, she informed the tenants and neighbors about the situation. When there was still no response, they forced the gate open, only to find the bodies covered in blood.

The deceased have been identified as Amandeep Singh, aged 42, his wife Jasveer Kaur, 40, and their daughters Manveer Kaur, 10, and Parmit Kaur, 6. SSP Bhupinder Singh stated that it appears to be a case of suicide by Amandeep, who is believed to have killed his family members. However, the police are investigating all possible angles.

Amandeep was known to be a builder and financier, and he had recently opened a new salon, which was set to have its inauguration soon. The family had moved into their current home just five months ago and was residing on the ground floor.

Authorities mentioned that a family from Jharkhand was renting the first floor of the building. The police are currently reviewing CCTV footage and have taken statements from neighbors, tenants, and others involved.
