The incident took place in the Narhi police station area, resulting in the tragic deaths of five individuals on the spot, while several others sustained serious injuries. The scene was chaotic, filled with cries for help following the accident.

Witnesses reported that a sudden gust of wind swept through the area during the afternoon, uprooting the old neem tree. At that moment, an e-rickshaw carrying multiple passengers was passing by. The tree crashed down directly onto the vehicle, crushing it completely, leaving the passengers with no time to react.

Local residents rushed to the scene immediately after the accident to assist with rescue efforts. They worked to remove branches from the tree to free the trapped passengers. Emergency services, including police and fire brigade teams, arrived shortly after, using heavy machinery to clear the tree and extract the injured, who were then transported to nearby hospitals.

Medical personnel confirmed that five individuals were declared dead upon examination, while treatment for the injured continues. Some of the injured are reported to be in critical condition, raising concerns that the death toll may rise. Authorities have sent the deceased for post-mortem examinations and are in the process of identifying them.
