Tragic Incident in Faridabad: Sadhu Allegedly Beaten to Death by Laborers

In a shocking event in the grain market of Ballabgarh, located in Faridabad district, a sadhu was reportedly beaten to death by a group of laborers. This information was confirmed by the police on Tuesday.

Authorities received a report on Monday morning regarding an individual found dead in a shed at the grain market, with visible signs of injury on the body. Upon arrival, the police conducted an investigation and summoned a forensic team.

Identification and Investigation

The deceased has been identified as Vijay Gupta, and his body has been sent to the mortuary. According to police reports, two to three young laborers working at the grain market allegedly assaulted the sadhu with sticks around midnight, resulting in severe injuries.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mahesh Shyoran stated that efforts are underway to locate the suspects. Additionally, no relatives of the deceased have come forward yet, and the post-mortem will be conducted once family members arrive.
