In a tragic incident in Faridabad, Haryana, a 45-year-old man took his own life by jumping in front of a train along with his four children following a dispute with his wife. According to police reports, Manoj Mahato, originally from Bihar, had been experiencing ongoing issues with his spouse, Priya.

Authorities stated that he was spotted walking along the railway tracks nearly a kilometer from the station, carrying two of his children on his shoulders while holding the hands of the other two.

Despite the train driver sounding the horn multiple times from a distance, Mahato did not move away from the tracks. As the train approached, he jumped in front of it with his children—Pawan (10), Karu (9), Murli (5), and Chotu (3)—around 12:55 PM. Upon receiving the news, police arrived at the scene, removed the bodies from the tracks, and sent them for post-mortem examination.
