Authorities received a call at the police control room indicating that a young man named Raj Prasad had leaped from a building, suggesting a possible suicide. A police team from the Maidan Garhi station quickly arrived at the scene, where they found the individual unconscious.

The deceased was identified as Raj, a resident of Suman Chowk in Chhatarpur, originally hailing from Rudrapur in Uttarakhand.

Family's Concerns

An official stated, 'Initial investigations revealed that Prasad worked as a lighting technician in films. His family has been informed about the incident.'

Raj's family includes his mother, brother, and sister. His brother, Rahul Prasad, expressed doubts about the circumstances surrounding Raj's death, suggesting that a 'sex racket' might have been operating in the building.

Rahul stated, 'We do not believe Raj committed suicide. We suspect foul play.'

Living Situation and Upcoming Events

Raj lived with his cousins in Chhatarpur Extension, approximately three kilometers from the incident site. One of his cousins, Sachin, mentioned, 'Raj's sister was set to marry around Diwali this year. He would not take his own life. Furthermore, he left our house on Saturday morning.'

Sachin added, 'The police are not providing us with information on how he died. We believe someone pushed him from the building.'

The crime team has examined the scene and collected evidence. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and legal proceedings are ongoing.
