Reports indicate that the confrontation occurred while the inmates were being transported to court for a hearing. During this time, a fight erupted, leading to the fatal attack on Aman.
Background of the Conflict
Investigations reveal that Aman had previously assaulted Jitender and his brother with a knife in 2024, which likely contributed to the animosity between them.
"This incident is deeply troubling and raises significant concerns regarding security within the court. The altercation involved three inmates, and no weapons were used. It appears Aman sustained fatal injuries after hitting his head against the wall during the scuffle. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation, and the situation is currently under control," stated Anil Basoya, President of the Bar Association.
Legal Actions Taken
Following the incident, police have initiated a case against the involved prisoners. The body of the deceased has been sent for a postmortem examination, and an inquiry is underway to determine the underlying reasons for the altercation.
