Auraiya News: A deeply tragic incident has emerged from Auraiya district in Uttar Pradesh, where a young mother ended her life following a domestic dispute. The family is engulfed in grief, and a little girl has lost her mother. This incident occurred in the village of Tajpur, located in the Bidhuna police station area. The 26-year-old woman, Reena, took her own life by hanging herself with a dupatta in her home.

Reena was married to Mohit, a resident of Tajpur, in 2023. The couple had a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter named Mishti, who is now deprived of her mother's love. Reports indicate that a quarrel erupted between the husband and wife over an empty cooking gas cylinder on Saturday. Mohit had gone to fetch a new cylinder but returned home empty-handed after waiting in line for a long time.

When he arrived home around 5 PM, a minor argument ensued over the same issue. Following this, Mohit went to the market to buy vegetables. During his absence, Reena went to an upper room and hanged herself. When family members later entered the room, they found her lifeless body hanging, which led to chaos in the household. The incident was promptly reported to the police and Reena's family.

Domestic Dispute Reported

Inspector Mukesh Babu Chauhan stated that the initial assessment suggests it was a suicide. The body has been taken for post-mortem examination. According to police, there was a domestic dispute between the couple, but the allegations regarding the gas cylinder have not been confirmed. Investigations are ongoing, and the true cause of death will be clarified after the post-mortem report.
