Tragic Incident: Camel Kills Owner in Rajasthan
Shocking Death of a Farmer
A disturbing incident has emerged from Churu district in Rajasthan, where a farmer met a horrific fate at the hands of his own camel. The farmer, who had borrowed money to purchase the camel for his family's livelihood, was killed in a brutal attack that left his family in shock. The camel reportedly grabbed the farmer's head in its jaws and crushed it, tossing him into the air multiple times before throwing him to the ground. The farmer died on the spot.
The Camel's Role in the Family
According to local police, the victim, identified as Ram Lal, had bought the camel about a month ago from a resident of Churu district. Initially, he kept the camel tied near his home, but recently began using it for work. Ram Lal relied on the camel for labor, which helped support his family of three children.
A Fatal Encounter
On Saturday, while preparing to tie the camel to a cart, Ram Lal encountered an aggressive reaction from the animal. After being pushed to the ground, the camel seized Ram Lal's head. Despite his screams for help, he succumbed to his injuries within seconds, suffering a fatal blow to his skull.
Family's Reaction to the Tragedy
Following the incident, Ram Lal's family attempted to control the camel, which remained near the body for an extended period. Eventually, they tied it to a Khejri tree. However, they have expressed their intention to kill the camel, refusing to keep it after the tragic event.
Previous Similar Incident
This is not the first occurrence of such a tragedy; a similar incident took place five months ago in Bikaner, where a father of four was killed by his camel in a similar manner. In that case, the enraged family tied the camel to a tree and beat it to death in retaliation.
Dangers of Handling Camels
Experts note that camels can be particularly sensitive animals, and when provoked, they can become extremely difficult to control. There have been numerous reports of fatalities resulting from camel attacks.
