Shocking Death of a Farmer

A disturbing incident has emerged from Churu district in Rajasthan, where a farmer met a horrific fate at the hands of his own camel. After borrowing money to purchase the animal to support his family, the camel attacked him, leading to a tragic death that has left his family in shock. The camel reportedly clamped its jaws around the farmer's head, crushing it like a watermelon, before tossing him into the air and slamming him back to the ground. The farmer died on the spot, and the camel has since been tied to a tree as the family contemplates its fate.

The Camel's Role in the Family

According to local police, the victim, identified as Ram Lal, had bought the camel about a month ago from a local seller. Initially, he kept the camel tied near his home, but recently began using it for work, relying on it to help him earn a living for his family of three children.

A Fatal Encounter

On Saturday, while preparing to harness the camel to a cart, Ram Lal was unexpectedly attacked. The camel, agitated, knocked him down and seized his head in its jaws. Despite Ram Lal's desperate cries for help, he succumbed within seconds as the camel crushed his skull.

Family's Reaction to the Incident

Following the tragedy, family members attempted to control the camel, which remained near Ram Lal's body for an extended period. Eventually, they tied it to a khejri tree but expressed their intention to kill the animal, stating they could no longer keep it.

Previous Similar Incident

This incident is reminiscent of a similar case from five months ago in Bikaner, where a father of four was killed by his camel in a similar manner. In that case, the enraged family retaliated by beating the camel to death after the attack.

Dangers of Handling Camels

Experts note that camels can be particularly sensitive animals, and when provoked, they can become extremely difficult to control. There have been multiple fatalities linked to camel attacks, highlighting the risks involved in handling these animals.
