The boys, hailing from the Kosagumuda block in Nabarangpur district, were part of a group of five friends enjoying their visit to this picturesque location.


Reports indicate that the incident transpired when the boys lost their footing and were swept away by the powerful current while filming near the waterfall. Despite their friends' quick attempts to alert others, the two were submerged almost instantly.


In response to the incident, local police and the Kotpad fire brigade quickly arrived at the scene to initiate a thorough search and rescue operation. As of the most recent updates, efforts to find the missing boys are still in progress.
