Fire Breaks Out in Arki Subdivision

A devastating fire erupted late Sunday night in the old bus stand area of Arki subdivision, located in Solan district, resulting in the tragic death of a young boy. Authorities confirmed the incident on Monday.


The blaze engulfed several shops, and there are ongoing concerns that some individuals may still be trapped inside the affected buildings.


The deceased boy is reported to be around seven years old. Fire engines were dispatched from Ambuja plant, as well as from Nalagarh and Shimla's Boileauganj to assist in controlling the flames.


Gaurav Singh, the Superintendent of Police in Solan, stated on Monday that the fire also spread to a branch of UCO Bank, where the boy suffered severe burns. Efforts to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to other structures are still underway.
