Fatal Incident in Banda District

A devastating fire in the Devin Nagar neighborhood of Naraini, Banda district, resulted in the tragic deaths of a 24-year-old woman and her nine-month-old son on Sunday night. This information was confirmed by a police official on Monday.


According to Krishna Kant Tripathi, the Deputy Superintendent of Police for the Naraini area, the fire broke out unexpectedly in a residence, leading to the fatalities of Anita, also known as Anu, and her infant son, Parth.


The authorities have sent the bodies for post-mortem examinations and have initiated an investigation into the incident. The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time. Police reports indicate that the woman had been married for three years, and her father-in-law had passed away a few years prior. At the time of the incident, her husband, Shivam, was working outside the area.


Inside the home were the woman, her mother-in-law, and her young son. Relatives from the woman's side have alleged that she was murdered for dowry, and this claim is currently under investigation.
