Raipur, March 16: A tragic fire erupted in a residential home located in Lingiyadih village, falling under the jurisdiction of the Sarkanda police station in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The blaze resulted in the death of a 57-year-old woman who was trapped inside, officials reported on Monday.

The incident took place on Sunday night, triggered by a loud explosion believed to have originated from a refrigerator. The fire rapidly consumed the entire house, leaving no opportunity for escape.

The victim, identified as Jaya Agarwal, was unable to escape the flames and tragically lost her life.
