A devastating fire broke out at an e-rickshaw charging station in the Dilshad Garden area of East Delhi, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. This information was confirmed by an official from the fire department.
The official reported that the fire was first reported at 11:32 PM on Sunday from the Kudi Colony area, prompting the dispatch of four fire engines to the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the blaze may have ignited while an e-rickshaw was being charged.
The official stated, 'Two individuals were found deceased at the site. They have been identified as Shashi, aged 24, and Bablu, aged 60.' Furthermore, it was noted that the fire has been extinguished, but the exact cause remains unverified. An investigation is currently underway, with forensic and crime investigation teams visiting the site.
