Fatal Incident at SBL Energy Limited

Nagpur: A devastating explosion at an explosives manufacturing facility in Nagpur district, Maharashtra, resulted in the deaths of at least 15 individuals on Sunday morning, according to police reports.

The incident occurred at the SBL Energy Limited factory, which specializes in mining and industrial explosives, located in Raulgaon within the Katol tehsil, as confirmed by a senior police official.

According to representatives from SBL Energy Limited, the explosion happened in the detonator packing unit between 7:00 AM and 7:15 AM.

Following the blast, the injured were promptly transported to a hospital in Nagpur for treatment, as stated by the police.

A company spokesperson mentioned that rescue operations are currently in progress and that further information will be provided shortly.
